Two Kids Our City Can Be Proud Of!!

November 19th, 2007 · No Comments

For some reason I’ve been contacted a number of times by people who have found abandoned dogs that need homes. I’ve been extremely lucky and have been able to place a few of these dogs in loving homes. The trick to this success can only be attributed to getting the message out to the masses. When I receive an email about a dog (or any other pet) needing a home I send out a blast email to about 1,000+ people (friends, neighbors, parents of my childrens’ classmates, co-workers, past clients, vendors, you name ‘em I send ‘em an email.) Basically, if their email address is in my database they receive an email. I’m not shy (you probably knew this already) and figure people can easily press “delete” if they aren’t interested. The key is in the numbers!

At this point you’re probably wondering why the title mentions two kids, well here’s why…

Zack and Thomas Eller are two kids our city can be proud of. Zack and Thomas run a business called Woof ‘em Down Homemade Dog Biscuits. It’s been said that pets and people can’t resist Woof ‘em Down Dog Biscuits because they are made fresh in their barkery using peanut butter, flour, applesauce and eggs. And the really great thing about this company is that all the profits go to Aiding and A-Petting, a pet rescue organization.

See the connection?

You can buy their product on line at woofemdown dogbiscuits.
