In 2003 my wife and I began exploring the idea of moving to a larger home.  We were living in a slab home with two kids and desperately needed a basement.  To say that we had outgrown the house was an understatement.  We were unsure of the best way to buy another home and really had no knowledge of the home selling/buying process whatsoever.

Along came Lisa Chasin.  My wife met Lisa at a women's neighborhood social and I was introduced to her shortly thereafter.  Lisa is one of the most understanding and honest agents you will ever run across.  She really knows her stuff and will be right there for you every step of the way.  We had her begin looking for a new home in the fall of 2003, not far from our present location.  We never really could find anything we liked but we had a lot of time and were not pressed to find a new home.  She was constantly looking for us to find homes for sale that matched our requirements and would call whenever she found something we might like.

Finally, as the Spring of 2004 creeped in, we got the fever again in our search for another home.  Lisa was so dedicated to helping us.  Even though we were probably dragging our feet in our search during the winter, she stuck with us and made the process enjoyable.  She told us that the best way to get another home was to put ours on the market and under contract first, so we did.

Our home had a contract on it within 24 hours.  Not only did Lisa help us sell our home...she really stepped up to help us buy our next home.  I doubt we could have gotten through the process without her assistance.  She stuck with us for 9 months while we were on-again-off-again in our search for another home.  My hat's off to Lisa and all her hard work.

Anyone who has ever bought or sold a house knows that it is perhaps one of the most stressful things that a person can go through in life, and as someone who doesn't particularly enjoy stress, I am very thankful that I was referred to Lisa Chasin.  She took us under her wing as soon as my wife and I arrived in the Atlanta area to search for a house, and made what is usually an agonizing experience into an enjoyable one.  Not only does she know the area exceptionally well, but she makes the home buying experience a good one by taking the time to get to know her clients and provide real estate locations based on their needs and tastes.  As I write this, my wife and I are settling into our new Atlanta home and we could not be more thrilled with the home buying experience that Lisa provided for us.

Enclosed please find a completed survey form sent to us concerning the purchase of our new home this past summer.  Ms. Lisa Chasin of your office served as our agent.  This survey and letter are terribly late and for that I apologize.  However, because of the high level of service provided by Ms. Chasin, our satisfaction with our new home and the process to locate and buy the home, I felt that I should respond, even if tardy.

When we decided to buy a new home early last summer, we developed a very specific list of requirements.  We met with Ms. Chasin to discuss these requirements, and were quite happy that she provided thought-provoking questions to refine our list.  Once we were settled on the requirements for our new home, Ms. Chasin began a search to fulfill our wishes.  She stayed in regular contact with us, though she did not waste our time having us look at properties that did not fit our needs.  As we identified several candidate homes, we felt Ms. Chasin really worked on our behalf to investigate the neighborhoods, schools, and other items that we felt were important.  Finally, she found the perfect home the day it went on the market.  Though we rushed to place a contract, others were likewise quick to place an offer.  We ultimately secured the property through Ms. Chasin's professional and diligent pursuit of the property on our behalf.

Ms. Chasin has assisted me over the past year in two real estate transactions - first as a buyer, and then as a seller.  I met Ms. Chasin when she showed me several properties she was listing.  After meeting several realtors in this method, I requested her assistance when I found a home which truly interested me (not her listing)... During both transactions, I felt Ms. Chasin's services were very valuable to me.  She communicated frequently with me by phone and e-mail regarding the progress of the transaction, offering a wide range of advice and interpretation of documents, and was always very timely in responding to any inquiries by either myself or the other party.  She appeared very knowledgeable regarding specifics of Georgia real estate requirements.  Specifically regarding the sale of my prior home, she:
* Offered helpful suggestions for consideration in setting a price;
* Related to pricing and promotion, surveyed comparable properties nearby (including making arrangements for me to see several of them for comparison);
